The method

Here’s what happens during a workout

Every member trains at their own pace in a challenging and safe environment, which is why we use heart rate as the baseline. Every rep is watched by our coaches to make sure you’re using proper form and making real progress, not just chasing a number written on a board. People with different experiences and goals can share the same room, and we make sure they’re enjoying themselves, not competing against each other.

  • 60 minutes full body workout
  • Perfect balance between strength and cardio
  • Heart-rate based training
  • A coach to guide you throughout every class

At 150 classes you are handed a Rudis. It is the wooden sword that bought a gladiator his freedom, and here it marks the same thing: the point where the work stopped being something you make yourself do.

Prove them wrong

Four people who walked in certain this place was not built for them.

  1. “I am too young for this to matter.”

    Gabriel Bonfim, 15

Four years training here. Came in thinking he was too young to need it. Left a better tennis player.

  2. “My body is already broken.”

    Graça Marinho, 66

Spine surgery, chronic pain, dependent on painkillers. Six months in, off them. Today a judo brown belt.

  3. “I would never last.”

    Fabiano Mello, 35

Joked on his own radio show that he would not survive five minutes. Eight years later, a jiu jitsu black belt.

  4. “This place was not built for me.”

    Thiago Amaral, 29

Paraplegic since a 2011 car crash. Started training in 2016. Called up to the national wheelchair rugby team.
